It’s time to buy a new car and you want to choose one that’s worth your money? You’ve read all the advice and tips in internet, you’ve spoken to friends, who know a great deal about cars, but you are still not sure, that the car you already have in mind is the right one for you? Then all that’s left to do is to make a real test and actually drive it. Most of the big car make companies offer the so called test drive as a free service. You can make an appointment with your local dealer to drive out and try the model of your choice on the street. In case the car of your dreams is an older model and you can’t get it from a dealership, then you can schedule a meeting with a used cars dealer to examine and test the car you want to buy. Whatever the case, don’t expect the test drive to last more than 15 minutes under the close supervision of a car dealer representative sitting next to you.
For most of us these few minutes are barely enough for a thorough review of the car’s merits in every possible situation. If you want a real test without the pressure of the ticking clock and a present overseer looking over your shoulder, my advice to you is - visit a car rental company and get a hire a car. It doesn’t matter, if you do it for a day, for the weekend or for a longer period of time. The rental car gives you the liberty to take you loved ones (your partner, your relatives and friends) for a ride or even for a short trip in the country with a trunk full of luggage. Thus getting a good feeling of how the rental car performs in lifelike situations and seeing, if it would fit you and your needs for the time being.
